Fruit Bowl
Start by copying the fruit bowl picture below into FW.
Select the Magic Wand tool - set the Edge to "anti-alias" - not "hard".
Click in the white area around the bowl...then Delete key.
CTRL+D to deselect (get rid of marching ants). You won't see any difference on the canvas yet, but you should then see the layer go from having a white background to having the transparent squares.
Now change the Canvas Size so there's room for the fruit. Change it to be 400 x 300(MODIFY>Canvas>...), or click off the canvas with the black arrow tool.
Copy the apple and grapes pictures, and paste into the fruit bowl document.
For each picture,
- click with the Wand on the white in each picture
- Delete.
- Then CTRL+D to deselect.
Make sure the layer you want to select the white from is also selected in the Layers panel.
With the black arrow tool, move layers up/down so the fruit bowl is in front and the fruit is behind. Also move fruit so they're overlapping each other.
