Letter 'E'

Select the Pen tool.

Before you start drawing, go to Properties and make sure your Pen is set to a black soft stroke and no fill.

Click to create your first point in the upper right corner of your stage. Then click to the left, holding SHIFT so the line is straight.

To create a rounded corner, click and drag over and down a bit.

Hold SHIFT, then click near the bottom.

Click and drag down and over to the right to create a curved corner.

Holding SHIFT, click to create the rest of your points for the "E".

Make sure your ending line is straight. Use the white arrow tool to click on points and adjust with the arrow keys until it's straight.

Make the top and bottom of the "E" not so much longer than the middle - drag your white arrow tool from the top to the bottom of the right side to select all the points on the right side. Then adjust with the arrow tool to move to the left.

Remove the Stroke, add a solid fill and add the Filter: Inner Bevel ...Smooth.
